I guess America has spoken. The majority of voters want to put God aside and keep pleasing man instead. They want to be able to do anything their heart desires without ever considering the end result.
They do not want to obey God because that restricts them. A majority of voters have indicated that homosexuality is OK, and it makes me wonder what they will ask for next.
I always thought that parents were trying to teach their children right from wrong. Those parents should be looking out for them and helping them to overcome those tendencies, simply because God said it was wrong.
Apparently, they do not want to follow the moral laws that have been around for several thousand years. Jesus came and taught the people that God wanted them to obey from the heart, not the head. The Bible was given to us so that we could learn what God has done for us through the Hebrews.
We have provided a lot of information but stopped teaching children how to think. Textbooks have been rewritten instead of letting children read the actual letters of the nation’s founders and early politicians.
The nation’s problems really took off when the politicians came to Washington, D.C., and did not go back home to their previous employment. That is one of the things the founders warned us about.
People should read the U.S. Constitution, along with the Declaration of Independence.
