AUBURN — Wallace and Kathy Doucette Jr. of Auburn are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Melissa Doucette of Auburn, to Jon Mercier of Auburn, son of Steve Mercier of St. Petersburg, Fla., and Jill Hurd of Auburn.

Miss Doucette is a 2003 graduate of Edward Little High School and attended Johnson and Wales University. She is currently working for TD Bank in a management position.

Mr. Mercier is a 1998 graduate of Edward Little High School and is currently a real estate broker at Maine Source Realty.

The wedding will be held at 4 p.m. on June 1 at Martindale Country Club.
