SACO (AP) — Police in Saco are looking for the driver who fled after being involved in a traffic accident.

Police say there was a two-vehicle crash at Ocean Park Road and Cumberland Avenue at about 2:30 a.m. Sunday.

A person driving a pickup truck fled the scene on foot after the accident.

Maine State Police were called in with a dog unit and tracked the motorist as far as the turnpike, but couldn’t locate the person after an hour-long search.

Police say no one was hurt and the crash remains under investigation.
