1949 – 2012

WATERFORD — Jeffery B. Millett, 63, went to heaven on Christmas Eve, Dec. 24.

Born in Norway, Dec. 14, 1949, a son of Chester L. and Barbara E. (Trimback) Millett, Jeff attended Waterford Memorial School and graduated from Oxford Hills High School. He married Sonja C. (Olson) Millett on Jan. 8, 1972. He served in the U.S. Air Force and then returned home in 1973.

He worked at Wilner Wood Products of Norway, Sampson’s Grocery Store of South Paris, the A.G. Grocery Store of Bridgton and Food City of Bridgton. He semi-retired in 2012, along with working part-time at Havoc Fireworks of South Paris.

His greatest passions were his children and grandchildren. Family was everything. He was an avid sports fan; his favorite teams were the Oakland Raiders and the Boston Red Sox. Over the years, he liked to bowl, loved to ice fish, was very good at “whooping” people at cribbage and watching his children and grandchildren’s various activities. He was their biggest fan. Jeff enjoyed all the time he spent with his brother, Fred, especially lately, delivering his famous apple pies. He was his granddaughter, Jade’s plowing companion.

He is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Morin and her husband, Yvon; daughter, Jessica Richards; daughter, Melody Millett; grandchildren, Zack Morin and partner, Timothy Brillant, Jade Morin, Cameron Richards Jr., Thomas Richards and Allyson Richards; his brother, Fred Millett and his wife, Milly Millett; his companion, Sonja Millett; and also many other loving family members.

Jeff was predeceased by his parents; and sister, Sandra Springer.
