PHILLIPS — Harlie and Julie Haines of Avon are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Rebecca Haines of Phillips, to Jamie Phelps of Phillips, son of Danny and Paula Phelps of Waite and Cindy Noyes of Howland.

Miss Haines is a 1997 graduate of Mt. Abram High School and a 2012 graduate of Kennebec Valley Community College. She has been employed as an occupational therapy assistant for North Country Associates (Edgewood Rehab) for the past 10 years.

Mr. Phelps is a 1994 graduate of Lee Academy and a 1998 graduate of Southern Maine Community College. He has been employed at Federal Distributors for the past 10 years.

The couple will wed at 3 p.m. on Sept. 7 in Kingfield.
