LIVERMORE FALLS — Police are investigating who slashed four tires on a car in a driveway on Millet Street in the downtown area. A knife was recovered nearby, police Chief Ernest Steward Jr. said.
A report came in Friday that a resident had parked the 2003 Mazda at 8:30 p.m. Thursday in the driveway. When she went to go to work Friday, all four tires were flat, he said.
Damage is estimated to be about $800.
Police also are investigating a burglary and theft at a garage in a mobile home park at Pine Ridge Loop. It was reported Wednesday. Two welding leads had been cut from a welder and a battery was taken out of a dump truck, Steward said.
