AUGUSTA — Gov. Paul LePage is scheduled to speak to students at Lewiston High School on Tuesday about domestic violence and how Mainers can address the problem.

LePage has made reducing domestic violence one of his central issues and has spoken out against it frequently.

According to a news release from the Governor’s Office, each high school student will receive a booklet with a personal note from the governor, information to help domestic violence victims and an awareness wristlet with the governor’s motto, “If it is to be, it is up to me.”

The talk is scheduled for 1 p.m.
