STRONG — A Franklin County deputy is investigating a report of shots fired at a camp on Sweets Pond Lane sometime since October.

The owner from Massachusetts discovered a front window had been shattered and siding had been damaged with what appears to be a .22-caliber slug, Sheriff Scott Nichols Sr. said Monday.

A stove pipe also had a hole it, he said.

According to Deputy Matthew Brann’s report, a family member was at the camp in December and thought the window was damaged by a tree branch, Nichols said.

The last time the family had been up prior to then was October.
