KENNEBUNKPORT — The Maine Technology Institute will host a financing event June 20 for entrepreneurs and small business owners to meet one-on-one with officials from federal funding agencies representing the Small Business Innovation Research and Small Business Technology Transfer (SBIR/STTR) programs.
The SBIR/STTR programs represent the largest source of early-stage research and development funding for innovative technology in the United States, providing more than $2.5 billion each year to small businesses across the country to help entrepreneurs take their ideas from laboratory to market.
The session will be held at The Colony Hotel in Kennebunkport. Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. followed by presentations starting at 8:45 a.m. and one-on-one meetings running until 5 p.m. Preregistration is encouraged.
