LEWISTON — The Maine Public Broadcasting Network received 10 nominations for in-house television productions at the 36th Annual New England Emmy Awards on April 30. Three other programs aired on MPBN have also been nominated. In total, six programs and 12 individuals have received nominations.

Episodes of “Sustainable Maine” and “MPBN’S Maine Arts!”, and a “Maine Watch” episode have been nominated. Individual craft nominations were awarded to videographer Chad Diamond, director Steve Galvin and producer and writer Suzanne Nance, as well as several nonstaff production members. Additionally, Jennifer Rooks, Nick Woodward, Heidi Ann Perkins, Frank Ferrel, Bret Plymale, Mark Austin and Laura Ozment Schenck were all recognized in association with nominated programs.

The New England Emmy Awards honors programs broadcast in Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, upstate New York, Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Connecticut. Established in 1977, the chapter has been dedicated to the advancement of excellence in television for 36 years.

This year’s winners will be announced in Boston on June 1.
