Maine Credit Unions’ Campaign for Ending Hunger recently distributed five checks for $300 each to the Agencies on Aging Meals on Wheels programs in Maine in recognition of National Older Americans Month in Maine. At the presentation at the Maine Association of Area Agencies on Aging headquarters at Spectrum Generations in Hallowell are, from left, David Moyer of SeniorsPlus in Androscoggin, Oxford and Franklin counties; Lynda Johnson of Spectrum Generations, Central Maine’s Area Agency on Aging; Diana Dionne of the Maine Credit Unions’ Campaign for Ending Hunger; Jessica Maurer, executive director of the Maine Association of Area Agencies on Aging; and Rob Crone of the Eastern Maine Area Agency on Aging, who accepted the contribution on behalf of the Southern Maine and Aroostook Area Agencies on Aging.
