HARTFORD — Voters will go to the polls Tuesday, June 11, to elect a selectman, a town clerk and a road commissioner.

Selectman Zoe Cowett, Town Clerk Lianne Bedard and Road Commissioner Jeremy Johnson are running for re-election.

On Saturday, June 15, voters will gather at the Town Hall to decide on 59 articles, including ones that, if passed, would put spending at $30,000 more than the past year. The increase is mainly to pay for fire services provided by Canton, Turner and Buckfield.

The RSU 10 budget is up 2.9 percent.

The administration account is up about $6,000 due to Register of Deeds fees increasing.

The revaluation account is up $4,500 because $10,000 for that account was cut from last year’s budget, Bedard said. The town had been budgeting an amount every year.

The town will also vote on a solid waste ordinance.
