FARMINGTON — The Titcomb Ski Slope yard sale has been changed to Sunday, June 9, due to the rainy forecast for Saturday.

The yard sale will be held from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the vacant lot between Hannaford Supermarket and the Jade Palace Restaurant, Route 2, in Farmington.

The sale will be hosted by the Titcomb Ski Club Educational Foundation and the Ski Club. All proceeds will be used to pay for new equipment and major repairs.

“This is an important fundraiser for us, foundation board member Shelley Deane said in a news release. “As a nonprofit community ski area, it’s important for us to raise the money we need to help keep skiing and snowboarding affordable for area families.”

Financial donations will be accepted and checks may be made out to: Titcomb Ski Club Educational Foundation, care of Deb Aseltine, P.O. Box 493, Wilton, ME 04294.

The Titcomb Ski Club Educational Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation, and donations are tax deductible.
