FARMINGTON — RSU 9 directors voted Tuesday to give nonunion employees about a 2 percent raise in 2013-14, Superintendent Mike Cormier said Wednesday.
The action followed an executive session.
“It varied a little by category,” he said.
For instance, he said, employees in food service were given a raise of 25 cents an hour, which averaged 2.1 percent.
There are about 45 employees who are considered nonunion and are covered for the most part by a one-year agreement, he said. A couple of them have extended work agreements.
Those in that classification include Central Office workers, computer technicians, speech therapists, occupational therapists, district psychological examiner, business manager and hot lunch workers.
