FARMINGTON — Selectmen are expected to consider the best offer on the surplus fire rescue squad truck and a proposal for website design services when they meet at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 25, at the Municipal Building.

The board decided to allow the Fire Department to park the vehicle in front of the fire station and use technology to let interested parties know bids on the vehicle would be taken until last Friday.

The board will also consider a proposal from bid responses for designing an attractive and user-friendly website for the town.

In other business, the board will hear an update on the Whittier Road erosion issue. They will also hear from the town assessor on the status of the property assessment update.

Other items on the agenda include considering three requests for the use of Meetinghouse Park, including one for a free concert by the Skowhegan Brass Quintet on Aug. 8.
