The Broad Street Band, together since 2001, will make its final curtain call tonight, Friday, Aug. 16, at Pedro O’Hara’s in Lewiston, from 8:30 p.m. to midnight. The band announced recently that the group of four was parting ways to seek other opportunities. The foursome has performed in L-A’s pubs, clubs, public halls and hotels for nearly 12 years. The classic rock band supported nonprofit charities and donated their time to countless annual benefits while also performing for wedding receptions, anniversaries and birthday parties throughout the state of Maine. The bond and friendships formed between the four members remains intact. There is no cover charge for the final curtain call of Broad Street Band. The band would like to thank family, friends, club owners and their staff for all the years of continued support. Members of the band, back, from left are Jody Demers, Dan Johnson; front, Michael and Celeste Onofrio.
