HEBRON — A midday crash between a car and a motorcycle on Route 119 in Hebron sent two to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
According to Oxford County Sheriff’s Office Deputy William Nelson, at about 11:30 a.m. motorcycle driver Norman Beaupre, 33, of Lewiston, and a 15-year-old female passenger were behind a Subaru Outback driven by Kathleen Gale, 74, of Hebron.
Nelson said Gale pulled slightly to the right side of the road and Beaupre began passing her on the left, when Gale swung around to take a left turn, hitting the front of the motorcycle with the front driver’s side of the car.
No charges were expected in the accident, Nelson said.
According to Hebron Fire Chief Jim Trundy, the motorcycle passenger was taken to Central Maine Medical Center by PACE Ambulance Services for non-life-threatening injuries.
Trundy said said Beaupre, who complained of road rash, went to CMMC in the front seat of the ambulance.
The Subaru was damaged but was not demolished, Nelson said. The motorcycle was also damaged, but he did not know the extent.
