The Lewiston boys’ swim team broke several records this past season.

The relay team of Jakub Suransky, Alex Mills , Peter Tirabassi and Mathew Charest broke the school records for the 200 and 400 free relays at the Maine State Championship meet at the University of Maine on Feb. 17.

The four-man team broke the previous record with a time of 3:34.59.

Additional school records for individual events were broken by Charest. He set a new school record in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:01.59, a new record in the backstroke with a time of :57.39 and also set a new Lewiston boys’ swim record in the 200 individual medley relay with a time of 2:02.35.
