Nathan Kinney of Phillips, a George Mitchell Scholar, has completed his first year in the honors college at the University of Maine. He was named to the dean’s list spring semester with a 3.8 grade point average. He was inducted into the freshman OWLS Academic Association with the top 10 percent of his class.

Kinney has already returned to UMaine for a two-week resident assistance training program and will serve as RA in Somerset Hall this coming year.
