BANGOR — Bangor Savings Bank Foundation will donate $100,000 to nonprofits across Maine as part of the annual Community Matters More program. During February, more than 86,000 Mainers voted for organizations they care about and 68 nonprofits will received grants in May.

The Community Matters More Grant Winners from Androscoggin, Franklin and Oxford counties are announced:

$5,000, New Beginnings Inc., Lewiston.

$1,000 (ballot), Farmington Historical Society, Farmington; Med-Care Ambulance, Mexico; Museum L-A, Lewiston; River Valley Health Communities, Rumford; Roxbury ATV Riders Club, Roxbury.

$1,000 (write-in), Black Mountain of Maine, Rumford; Greater Androscoggin Humane Society, Lewiston.
