PARIS — Police said a local woman charged with attacking a man with a butter knife Wednesday was arrested hours later and accused of throwing an ashtray at him.
According to Paris police Chief Michael Madden, Michelle Walker, 28, was arrested Wednesday afternoon on charges of aggravated criminal trespass and violation of conditions of release.
Police said Walker, who was arrested early Wednesday morning and charged with slashing an unidentified 36-year old Paris man in the head with a butter knife and then resisting arrest, returned to the same High Street residence an hour after her court appearance and threw an ashtray at him.
After fleeing the scene, Walker was arrested on Gothic Street and transported to the Oxford County Jail. She is being held without bail awaiting appearance in 11th District Court in Paris on Friday, a corrections officer said Thursday afternoon.
