FARMINGTON — Mosher’s Meat and Seafood will host its first Christmas in July winter coat, hat and mitten drive from 3 to 6 p.m. Saturday, July 26.

The event is being held in conjunction with CenterPoint Community Church of Waterville and Work First Inc. of Farmington.

New and gently used winter coats, hats and mittens will be collected Saturday at the Farmington Falls Road store for distribution to people in the greater Farmington area this fall.

Those who bring a new or gently used winter coat, hat or pair of mittens will receive 10 percent off their order at Mosher’s Take Out, owner Tawnya Clough said. The store will also feature a small candy cane or strawberry-vanilla-twist ice cream cone for $1.50.

Work First Inc.’s mission is to promote the fullest development of individuals’ personal growth, social responsibility, independent living and vocational development. The organization graciously agreed to help distribute these winter clothing items to families in need this fall.

Members of CenterPoint Community Church will collect the coats, hats and mittens on Saturday at Mosher’s Meat and Seafood.
