AUGUSTA — The northbound lane of I-95 in Augusta was temporarily closed Sunday night at Exit 109 after a tractor-trailer crash.
The truck crashed at approximately 10 p.m. Sunday near the Bond Brook overpass, according to a release from Maine Department of Public Safety spokesman Stephen McCausland. He said diesel fuel was leaking at the scene.
As of 4:28 a.m., authorities had reopened the northbound lane to one lane of traffic, according to the Maine Turnpike Authority. The MTA stressed that motorists should still use caution in the area.
No injuries were reported.
