NEW GLOUCESTER — The New Gloucester Environmental Resources Committee is sponsoring an educational display at the Public Library called “Reuse, Repurpose and Recycle.”

The display teaches how to do meaningful projects using items found at home, like how food waste can be turned into valuable soil amendments through composting.

Other projects include turning a shopping bag into a T-shirt, giving up plastic bags when shopping and reusing scraps of fabric and ribbon.

The display will be at the New Gloucester Public Library in Lower Gloucester during the library’s hours.

A drawing for six items in the display will be awarded at the end of this month.
