1922 – 2015
LEWISTON — Lucille G. Thibault, a resident of d’Youville Pavilion, passed away peacefully Friday, March 6, with her family at her side.
Born on May 11, 1922, she was the daughter of Odilon and Lydia (Champagne) Morin. She attended local schools, as well as Morency Business School, and was a Lewiston-Auburn resident all of her life.
Lucille married Marcel Thibault on April 10, 1948, and they proudly raised four children together. Once the children were grown, she worked at Zayre’s in the jewelry department for 13 years.
Lucille was a lifelong member of the Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul. She loved spending time with family and playing cards with her aunts and friends.
Lucille is survived by her two daughters, Lorraine Belanger and her husband, Roger, and Linda Thibault and her husband, Mike Garrity; two sons, Daniel Thibault and his wife, Greta, and John Thibault and partner, Lori Ayotte; six grandchildren, Lisa Cote, Diane Cote and her partner, Dave Beaule, Daniel Thibault Jr. and wife, Veronica, of North Carolina, Michael Thibault, Zachary Thibault and Chelsie Thibault; and eight very special great-grandchildren.
The family would like to extend our sincerest thanks to the staff at d’Youville Pavilion for the wonderful care they have provided to our mother over the years.
