JAY — A special public forum to gather comments from the residents of the three towns of Regional School Unit 73 area has been set for 6 p.m., Tuesday, March 10, at Spruce Mountain High School.

The session will begin with a free spaghetti supper in the high school’s cafeteria.

The forum is designated to discuss a new teacher evaluation process which will likely become a part of the mission statement. School Board Chairwoman Denise Rodzen said the state has mandated that each district have a teacher evaluation tool by 2016.

Teachers Nate Harnden and Michelle Brann have headed up a special committee. Teachers and administrators from all four district schools are expected to be present to provide information and answers to residents’ questions.
