LEWISTON — The Androscoggin County Chamber of Commerce will host Working a Trade Show, a free Chamber Brown Bag Discussion, from noon to 1:15 p.m. Wednesday, May 6. Phil Smith of Abracadabra Productions will lead the discussion with assistance from chamber President Chip Morrison.

Trade shows provide a forum to develop name recognition and generate leads for future sales. Except for a few situations, trade shows do not generate sales on the spot. To maximize a trade show investment, there needs to be commitment to three principle areas: proper pre-show preparation of the physical exhibit and materials, staffing the booth to engage attendees and post show follow-up.
