WATERVILLE — Oak Hill’s defense held the line and Kylee Veilleux, Meagan Sheehy and Zoe Buteau each scored goals as the Raiders (2-1) beat Winthrop 3-0 in a field hockey game Monday
The Raiders held a 2-0 lead at halftime thanks to their defensive line of Lexi Fuller, Makayla Nadeau and Brooke Surette who held the stubborn Ramblers at bay. Goalie Abby Fuller helped Oak Hill’s cause, making three diving saves.
Erica Hannigan, Buteau and Mercedes Pease all collected assists for the Raiders.
St. Dom’s 8, Telstar 1
AUBURN — St. Dom’s reeled off six goals in the second half and Erin Lachance scored four goals and had an assist as the Saints (1-2) rolled to an 8-1 victory over Telstar (1-2) in a field hockey game Monday.
Kylie Leavitt scored two goals for the Saints and had one assist. Hannah Braun and Oliva Chase rounded out the scoring. Calli Samson helped out with her assist.
For the Rebels, Becca Howard scored her team’s lone goal on a penalty stroke.
