FARMINGTON — Police said a Weld man was arrested early Friday morning after he broke a door at a home he thought was his.
Benjamin R. Bourassa, 40, was intoxicated when he broke the glass in a door of a house on Box Shop Hill Road around 3 a.m. Friday, according to a police report. He was charged with criminal mischief, taken to Franklin County Detention Center and released Friday morning on $3,000 unsecured bail.
Farmington police officer Derrick Doucette was on foot patrol when he heard glass breaking and found Bourassa at the home. He told police he thought he was locked out of his home and was breaking the glass to get inside, the police report said.
