LEWISTON — The Central Maine Human Resources Association will host a presentation on domestic violence in the workplace from 7:45 to 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 20, at the Ramada Inn.

There will be time to network before and after the meeting.

Rebecca Webber of Skelton of Taintor & Abbott will address recent legal changes to the laws that apply. Quentin Chapman of Corporate Intelligence will provide guidance on what can be done proactively as well as what can be done once there is already a problem. Julia Teitel of Safe Voices will provide advice on resources available to employees and employers for victims of violence.

The presentation will provide practical and common sense assistance to human resources personnel and business managers with no human resources experience.
