LIVERMORE FALLS — A family friendly Pumpkin Walk along the Livermore Falls Recreation Field will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 24.

There will be pumpkin carving from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the AMVETS Hall in Jay. Pumpkins will be provided.

Hillside Sports Club is petitioning everyone in the community to help make this an ongoing event. Members are inviting all Scout troops, school classes, athletic teams and families or individuals to participate.

They are also looking for people who might be able to provide pumpkins to carve, decorations, blow-ups, bales of hay, which can be returned to the donor, apple cider and other refreshments, such as squares or anything they deem appropriate for the walk.

Dressing in costume for the walk is encouraged.
