BERLIN, N.H. — A Rumford man described by police as a major drug supplier was arrested in Berlin this week.

Ricardy Roseaux, 30, was arrested on warrants during a traffic stop Tuesday night and charged with four felony counts of sale of a controlled drug and one felony count of conspiracy to sell a controlled drug, according to a news release from Berlin police.

According to police, Roseaux sold cocaine and oxycodone over the summer in Berlin. He was taken to the Coos County Jail in West Stewartson, N.H., where he remained Thursday.

Police said they recovered a large amount of money, prescription drugs and paraphernalia when they searched Roseaux’s vehicle.

The Berlin Daily Sun reported Roseaux owns two properties in Rumford but spends most of his time in Berlin, where he operates a silk-screening business at 217 Main St.

Police told reporters that Roseaux has convictions for drug possession and receiving stolen property in New Hampshire.

A probable cause hearing is set for Oct. 20.
