AUGUSTA (AP) — A Winslow man is scheduled for sentencing on charges that he pointed a loaded gun at two of his sons and the boyfriend of his ex-wife, who is a former state representative.
Fifty-year-old Wilfred Morissette entered guilty pleas to three counts of reckless conduct on Oct. 9. Police say former state Rep. Susan Morissette, three of her four children and her boyfriend drove into her driveway in 2014 to find Wilfred Morissette outside his house across the street with a gun.
The boyfriend called 911 and police took Morissette into custody. They also seized a loaded handgun.
Each charge against Morissette carries a maximum penalty of five years in prison. He is free on $5,000 cash bail.
