1918 – 2015

PORTLAND — Yvonne A. Begin was born on July 11, 1918, and passed away peacefully at The Cedars in Portland, with family by her side, on Dec. 9, at the age of 97.

Yvonne was a caring individual who was beloved by many and will be missed by all. She was a homemaker and also worked at Porteous as a retail sales associate for many years.

She was predeceased by her husband of 72 years, Leopold “Paul” Begin.

Yvonne is survived by her two children, Paul F. Begin and wife, Miriam, of Cape Elizabeth, and Patricia Bacon and husband, Maurice, of Jacksonville, Fla; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
