GARDINER — Dickie Hyper Hynie’s Rockin’ New Years Eve is set to lift off at 7:30 and 10:30 p.m., Thursday, Dec 31, at Johnson Hall, 280 Water St. Doors open at 7 and 10 p.m.
Tickets for this family-friendly show are $15 for all seats.
Now in its eleventh year and more rockin’ than ever, master showman Dickie Hyper-Hynie brings an all-new New Year’s Eve performance featuring Dickie and his talented cast of musicians, jugglers, physical comedians and dancers in an all-star variety show for the whole family. From big dance numbers to side-splitting comedy routines to stellar juggling to really, really bad magic, this show has it all.
Dickie Hyper-Hynie, a beloved character creation of entertainer Mike Miclon, hosts this crazy evening full of comedy and surprises on the one night he gets to stay out past curfew.
Dickie Hyper-Hynie’s Rockin’ New Years Eve will feature world-class musicians Oren Robinson and April Reed-Cox, five-time international juggling competition winner and physical comedian Fritz Grobe, of “Coke and Mentos” fame, juggler Shane Miclon, dancer Karen Montanaro, actor and physical comedian Collin Miclon and a special appearance by Maynard and Wilbur Duffa of the Buckfield Department of Tourism.
Those attending the late-night show will be able to ring in the New Year with laughter. Along with the promised laughter, the 10:30 show will also offer light hor d’oeuvres.
Mike Miclon has brought his high-energy antics to some of the finest theaters across the United States and Europe, with such highlights as the Kennedy Center and the White House in Washington D.C., The Keller Theater in Germany and the Festa Americana in Italy.
