LIVERMORE FALLS — Main-Land Development Consultants Inc. announces the promotion of Richard Dunton, PE, to the position of director of engineering.

Dunton is a Rumford native who attended the College of Engineering at the University of Maine in Orono. He has been with Main-Land since the start of his career, beginning as an intern at Main-Land during college and as a staff engineer upon graduation.

He performs site and civil engineering, regulatory permitting and construction administration. He also handles a variety of land-use projects, including municipal improvement projects, residential developments with miles of new road, and large site design.

As director of engineering, he will also manage the professional work of Main-Land’s engineering department.

Dunton lives in Buckfield with his wife and three sons.
