STRONG — A Strong man was arrested Thursday on a Class C felony charge of sexual abuse of a girl under 16 years old.
Michael Crandall, 54, was charged after leads were developed by police and information was gained from a polygraph examination, Franklin County Sheriff Scott Nichols said.
Detective Ken Charles of the Franklin County Sheriff Office worked with employees from the Department of Health and Human Services to develop the leads, he said. Franklin County Lt. David St. Laurent and Maine State Police Detective Jennifer King assisted with the investigation.
Bail for Crandall has been set at $1,000 cash.
