LEWISTON — New Ventures Maine is offering a free, five-week course, Career Planning: Finding Your Place in Today’s Job Market, at USM Lewiston/Auburn College, 51 Westminster St.

The class will be held from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Thursdays, beginning Feb. 18 and continuing on Feb. 25, March 3, 10 and 17.

Participants will review their skills, interests and experiences and relate them to occupations; identify educational opportunities; research the local job market; and develop a step-by-step plan to achieve their goals.
