PARIS — A Harrison teen is recovering in a Lewiston hospital after being injured when his car went off Hebron Road, rolled over and struck multiple trees late Sunday night, police said.

Richard Strother was driving a 1996 BMW southbound and had just passed another vehicle at a high rate of speed when he lost control of the car, Paris Police Department officials said. Strother was ejected from the vehicle, according to police.

A spokesperson at Central Maine Medical Center, where he was airlifted Sunday night, said Strother was listed in fair condition Tuesday afternoon.

The car was demolished.

Police said the crash is under investigation.
