RUMFORD — The Police Department responded to 105 calls in the past week.

* April 28, 9:22 a.m.: An overnight burglary was reported at a Waldo Street business. Patrolman Lawrence Briggs and Detective George Cayer are investigating.

* April 28, 5:25 p.m.: A resident reported his and his brother’s truck was entered and small items were stolen. Patrolman Briggs is investigating.

* April 29, 3:31 p.m.: Tyler McDonald, 29, of Peru was arrested on Route 2 by Officer Matthew Desroches on a charge of unlawful possession of heroin. A probation hold was also issued for McDonald and he was taken to the Oxford County Jail in Paris. He is to appear in court June 13.

* April 29, 11:52 p.m.: David M. Smith, 28, of Rumford was arrested on a charge of operating after suspension by Officer James McLamb. Smith is to appear in Rumford District Court on June 13. He was released on $600 unsecured bail.

* April 30, 10:19 p.m.: Annika Gagnon, 19, of Rumford was arrested on a charge of furnishing a place for minors to consume liquor. She was released on $5,000 unsecured bail and is to appear in Rumford District Court on June 13.

* April 20, 11:17 p.m.: Norman Alleano, 20, of Rumford was arrested on Rangeley Place on an outstanding warrant. Unable to make bail, he was transported to the Oxford County Jail.

* May 1, 8:33 p.m.: A Rumford female reported someone entered her apartment and stole her Samsung tablet computer. The theft is under investigation by Cpl. Lawrence Winson.

* May 2, 3:39 p.m.: Sgt. James Bernard investigated a report of theft at a Canal Street business. Gregory Messmer, 31, of Mexico was found in that town and arrested on a charge of theft and violation conditions of release. He was transported to the Oxford County Jail.

* May 3, 6:24 p.m.: Gregory Gallant, 69, of Rumford was arrested on Martin Road on a charge of operating under the influence. He was released on $800 unsecured bail and is to appear in Rumford District Court on June 13.
