GRAY — The SAD 15 budget will be presented to voters at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, May 26, at the Gray-New Gloucester High School cafetorium, 10 Libby Hill Road.

Voter registration will take place at 6 p.m.

The 2016-17 spending plan is $24.53 million, which is $521,017 over this fiscal year that ends June 30.

Gray’s contribution is $7.02 million, which is $196,721 less than this year. New Gloucester’s share is $3.9 million, which is $14,487 less than this year.

Among the 17 articles on the warrant are: $9.97 million for regular instruction; $4.13 million for special education; $287,682 for career and technical education; $755,606 for co-curricular and extracurricular programs in the high and middle schools; $2.16 million for student and staff support; and $1.66 million for student transportation.

The budget validation vote will be held at polling stations in both towns on June 14.
