CONCORD, N.H. — Gas prices have stayed about the same in northern New England.

GasBuddy surveys show the average retail price in New Hampshire is $2.28 per gallon, the same as last week.

The average price per gallon in Maine also has not moved, at $2.37. In Vermont, the price went up nearly a penny to $2.35.

The national average of $2.37 has increased 16.8 cents during the last month and stands 41.8 cents per gallon lower than this day one year ago.
