AUBURN — A Lewiston man was charged with nine felonies Tuesday stemming from the stabbing of a police officer.

An Androscoggin County grand jury indicted Jonathan David Order, 28, of 113 College St. on charges of aggravated attempted murder, aggravated assault and assault, along with 10 other charges related to the Sept. 19 incident.

He is expected to be arraigned in Androscoggin County Superior Court on Wednesday to answer the charges.
