TOPSHAM (AP) — Police say speed was a factor in a crash that killed a man in Topsham.
The Portland Press Herald reports (http://bit.ly/2ffG90a) that 22-year-old Nicholas Oram of Topsham died early Thursday morning when the pickup truck he was driving veered off a road and struck several trees. Police say Oram was not wearing a seat belt.
Oram was a standout soccer player at Mt. Ararat High School, graduating in 2012.
The accident is being reconstructed by members of the Topsham and Brunswick police departments.
