RUMFORD —  Police are reminding vehicle owners of the overnight parking ban from Dec. 1 until April.

Vehicles parked overnight on any street or for more than two hours between 11 p.m. and 6 a.m. will be ticketed or towed when interfering with snow removal.

It is also a violation for residents to deposit snow that blocks fire hydrants or sidewalks or any section of a travel lane.
