Ellen Shrader, left, and Missy North-Drain peek into the high house during the Good Food Council of Lewiston-Auburn tour of Food Joy & South Auburn Organic Farm on Monday afternoon. The tour, led by Executive Director Karen Bolduc, was opened to Twin Cities councilors and members of the Good Food Council. Bolduc showed some of the mechanics of the farm and spoke of her high-level concepts of saving the world by bringing families back to the table at dinnertime. Bolduc believes that sharing meals together fosters such qualities as generosity, trust, civil conversation as well as vocabulary.
