See Star ‘Nursery’ on Observatory Night

PARIS — The Twitchell Observatory’s Monthly Open Observatory Night, “Orion Nebula — Star ‘Nursery’ — See Where Stars are Being Born,”  will take place from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 12, or Saturday, Jan. 13, depending on the weather.

Call 207-890-5207 for the exact date or for postponements. The program is free.

The observatory is located on Paris Hill, South Paris. Take Route 117 (Buckfield Road) from downtown South Paris, one mile to Hooper Ledge Road.

Weary Club calls off meetings

NORWAY — Due to the unpredictability of the weather, members of the Weary Club will not meet for coffee during January and February.
