LEWISTON — The Central Maine Human Resources Association will hold a program for employers, big and small, about recognizing drug impairment, its affect on safety in the workplace and current issues pertaining to use, abuse and impairment in Maine.
The program will be held at 7:45 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 20, at the Carriage House, 1119 Lisbon St. It will give employers the basics on what they can do to address the issue. It will be presented by Scot Mattox, owner of Dirigo Safety, LLC.
Mattox retired in September 2013 as a sergeant with the Portland Police Department after 26 years in law enforcement. The program is sponsored by Skelton Taintor & Abbott law firm.
