New Auburn Seniors to meet

AUBURN — The New Auburn Senior Citizens has announced that Victoria Girardin is the winner of the $500 scholarship.

She is the granddaughter of members Pauline and Roger Le’Houillier.

REPAIR of Maine annual barbecue 

AUBURN — REPAIR of Maine will host the third annual barbecue on Saturday, July 7, from noon to 2 p.m. at St. Michael’s Episcopal Church, 78 Pleasant St.

Farmer’s market open Tuesdays

AUBURN — The City of Auburn has announced the return of the Auburn Farmer’s Market for the summer from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesdays through Oct. 2 in the Rolly’s Diner parking lot, 87 Mill St.

Drumming group making a beat  

LEWISTON — The Hand Drumming Group plays from 1 to 3 p.m. on the second Sunday of the month, at Trinity Church, 247 Bates St. 

All levels and styles of drummers can play, and they can bring their own instrument or try one of the club’s drums. The cost to play is by donation. 

Pantry seeks book donations

AUBURN — The High Street Food Pantry is seeking donations of children’s books for infants through teens.

Donations may be brought to the Auburn United Methodist Church, at 439 Park Ave.

Lewiston Bridge Club to play 

LEWISTON — The Lewiston Bridge Club plays at 9 a.m. Mondays and Tuesdays in the Seniors’ Room at the Lewiston Armory, 65 Central Ave.
