NEW GLOUCESTER — Jessica Lynn Gallant, 34, beloved daughter of Jennifer Gallant, died Sunday, July 29.

She was born Dec. 14, 1983, in Pittsfield, Mass. She moved to Maine in 1998, graduated from the Community School in Camden and held numerous positions in the food industry.

Jessica was very artistic and talented, decorating the home inside and out with a passion for flowers. She had a smile that could light up the world. Jessica was a mother for only a short time, but loved her baby with all her heart and soul.

Jessica leaves her mother, Jennifer Gallant, of New Gloucester; her 5-month-old son, Brodie; her grandmother, Mary Gallant, of Pittsfield, Mass; her boyfriend of several years, Joshua Smith, of Lewiston; several cousins; and many, many friends.

She was predeceased by her grandfather, Robert Gallant, of Pittsfield, Mass., and uncle, Michael Gallant, of Troy, N.Y.
